Forest
Forest is the film that CR – in association with Aurea by Philips – commissioned Cologne-based lightwriting crew Lichtfaktor to create
Lichtfaktor’s film, Forest, which debuted on Creative Review's blog, is something of a departure for the group as its previous films have all been shot in urban environments. “We really wanted to do something different for this film,” said Lichtfaktor’s Marcel Panne. “We wanted to get out of the city and surround ourselves and our work with nature.” The trio of lightwriters travelled to the Hautes Fagnes (High Fens) region of Belgium and rented a cabin for a few days from which they hiked for around three hours each night to shoot in various locations.
