A big thank you to everyone who came down to the launch of our Photography Annual exhibition at the Print Space gallery in London last week. Photographer William Pine made a nice little film of the event (above) and TPS has also sent us a few pics from the night. Best In Book photography from the Annual will be in the gallery until November 19.

Also on show in the basement of the gallery is the See Touch table showcased by interactive art collectives, Seeper and Found.

Hi Im wonder if any one can help?

I am currently working on a slideshow portfolio in Photoshop to make into a video so I can have it embedded into my website, you know the thing text and images fading in and out, but I am having a problem with uploading to Youtube from iMovie as I am losing clarity on my text as it goes fuzzy/blurry when uploaded and I was wondering if you could help?

How did CR get the text at the start of this video on Youtube so clear?

1. I have done the slideshow and text in Photoshop this was done at the standard 640x360 size reccomended by iMovie for Youtube (Should I have done it larger?) I also did it at 300 dpi just so I have the freedom to go up and down! When flattened the layers are sharp! So what is the best size and file format at this stage?

2. Then when I upload my images to iMovie it plays fine and sharp! Is there something at this stage in the settings I m missing? Then when uploaded to Youtube the video I seems to lose all the clarity to the text (white on black!). I have then tried exporting it as a Quicktime and the clarity was perfect when played but again clarity was lost when uploaded to Youtube!

Which is the best format and settings to upload to Youtube? I know it can be done because I have seen examples! Please if you can recommend anything else I would be very grateful!

Or maybe the key is to do it extra large and then shrink down? Im lost in a world or rendering and dispro...ahhh!!!

I have tried Vimeo and it is much clearer but a smaller video player!

Thanks and sorry for jumping on the back of this post!

Hi. I was the photographer on the print space private view. Just wondering if you could link my name to my website rather than the print space, as I think it's a little odd that it links to there website. As do they.
I'm a freelance photographer and don't work for the print space.

Many thanks,
Regards,

No problem Alex, sorry about that, I have changed the link. We were given the PS website as a credit with your name from the exhibition manager. Mark

No problem I'm aware that there was confusion. Thanks for amending for me.
