Buenos Aires design collective Cinco has created a nice little promo for Vertical Montanas track, Thick Mugs. It's very much a touchy-feely affair, featuring the work of nine unseen animators...

Cinco is a multi-disciplinary studio made up of Mariano Sigal, Loly Carnero and Sebastian Sigal. They also maintain a blog, here. We're not quite sure how they organised the direction of the animation, but it no doubt involved a lot of shouting (to me, to you etc).

Vertical Montanas is a ten-piece outfit consisting of all the members of both Youthmovies (formerly known as Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies) and Jonquil.

Thick Mugs is currently available on 7" from Motive Sounds Recordings.

Lovely idea but the pace needs quickening - a few extra edits would help. Also, seems weird adding the CG elements - kinda defeats the purpose.
