Save the Children
Jess Crombie is head of visual creative at Save the Children, where she has produced commercial shoots in adland, travelled around the world for WaterAid, and helped Magnum Photos go commercial. She is now in her dream job leading a team of creatives to produce high quality photographic, design and film content for Save the Children.
Sarah Douglas joined Wallpaper* as art editor in 2007, and was appointed creative director in 2012. Graduating from the University of Brighton, she was previously art director of The Architects’ Journal, leading a redesign of the magazine in 2005, and was awarded Art Director of the Year at the Periodical Publishers Association Awards that year. At Wallpaper* she is the driving force behind the creative output of the entire brand: print magazine, iPad edition, website, exhibitions and events. She has also designed architecture books for Laurence King and NLA, as well as Frontline, a quarterly political newspaper.
Head of Brand and Central Marketing
James Fairbank is the head of brand and central marketing at Rapha. Founded in 2004, the global, luxury online retailer, rapha.cc, serves as both an online emporium of performance roadwear and accessories, and a home to inspiring content that celebrates the glory and suffering of road riding.
Senior art director
Gemma joined Getty Images in 2010 as an Art Director, collaborating with Photographers and Filmmakers around the world, creating award winning commercial imagery. She regularly speaks at industry events discussing trends that underpin shifts in visual culture. Gemma curates a series of events and exhibition’s encouraging debate and collaboration around image making. She graduated from Nottingham Trent with a degree in Fine Art, in previous roles she worked as Freelance Art Director, as well as managing a portfolio of not for profit and arts organizations at a Brighton agency.
Head of print
Daniel Moorey is currently head of print for adam&eveDDB, commissioning work in various mediums from photography, moving image and illustration to projection mapping and matte painting. Prior to this, he was head of art buying at DDB London for 8 years and art buyer at AMVBBDO for 10 years. In 2012 adamandeveDDB were Campaign's Press Agency of the Year and in both 2012 and 2013 they were Campaign's Poster Agency of the Year.
Head of Art Production
Sarah Thomson is currently head of art production at Fallon, where she has worked since 2011. Prior to Fallon she was an art buyer at DDB London for six years and AMV BBDO for five. As an art producer she commissions photography, illustration, CGI and moving image for online content. She has been involved in award-winning campaigns for Harvey Nichols, VW, FT and Marmite. Before art production, Sarah worked at the Zelda Cheatle Gallery, and for Nadav Kander and photographer's agent Catherine Collins. She has judged numerous photography and illustration awards (D and AD, AOP, AOI, YCN) as well as contributing to books and articles in these fields.
Senior Art Director
Alan Wilson began his advertising career 20 years ago after studying in Leeds. He moved to London in 1998 and currently works for AMV BBDO. He has won creative awards including D&AD and Cannes, and has worked with clients such as Stella Artois, Snickers, Whiskas, John Lewis, and Xerox.
