Arsenal and Aries launch collab with a divine campaign

Arsenal continues to find its creative stride with a new streetwear collaboration and accompanying campaign film, which features stars and supporters pledging their devotion to the club

Arsenal has revealed a new collaboration with luxury London label Aries, marking the first time it has launched a partnership with an independent streetwear brand. The collection is dedicated to the club’s devotees – or the Arsenal Faithful – a concept that’s clearly inspired the spiritual tone of the campaign film.

The film stars players including Bukayo Saka, Alessia Russo, Martin Ødegaard, and Declan Rice, who is fresh from walking for the Labrum show in the Arsenal grounds during London Fashion Week.

They appear alongside famous Gooners from London’s creative community, including actor Kaya Scodelario and music artists Ghetts, Lava La Rue, Knucks, and Shygirl. Despite the music artists in the line-up, it’s the vocals of London City Voices that provide the score – a choral rendition of One Nil to the Arsenal, a chant that’s been knocking around since the 90s.

The cast are kitted out in the new 26-piece collection, which is emblazoned with bespoke graphics that bridge the gap between the two brands, including the name Arsenal redrawn in the Aries typeface and the number 1886 (the year the club was founded) contained within Aries’ temple logo. Other Arsenal iconography appears across the clothing and accessories, from the club’s cannon motif to key leadership figures from its history.

“Our collaboration with Aries is a celebration of two brands, rooted in London culture coming together to create something unique for our supporters,” says Arsenal MD Adam Gardiner. “This is another first where fashion meets Arsenal in a way that’s distinctive to our club. It’s been a pleasure to work together to craft a collection that puts our supporters and players at the heart of our creativity.”

It’s a continuation of Arsenal’s strong creative run, coming off the back of its kit and campaign celebrating Ian Wright and an illustration-led revamp of the Emirates stadium. The club might be in yet another Premier League battle this season, but creatively speaking it currently seems to stand head and shoulders above its rivals.
